Product Name :
Recombinant Human MUC1 Isoform Y Protein, hFc Tag
Description :
FAQ COA 已发表文献 MUC1, the transmembrane glycoprotein Mucin 1, is usually found to be overexpressed in a variety of epithelial cancers playing an important role in disease progression. MUC1 isoforms such as MUC1/Y, which lacks the entire variable number of tandem repeat region, are involved in oncogenic processes by enhancing tumour initiation. MUC1/Y is therefore considered a promising target for the identification and treatment of epithelial cancers. 产品性质 Synonyms MUC1/Y; MUC1; MUC-1; Mucin-1; Mucin1; CA 15-3; Episialin; H23AG; KL-6; PEMT; PUM; PEM; EMA; CD227; Uniprot No. P15941-7 Source Recombinant Human MUC1 Isoform Y Protein is expressed from Expi293 with hFc tag at the C-terminal. It contains Ser24-Gly158. Molecular Weight The protein has a predicted MW of 41.38 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 55-65 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result. Purity > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGEand HPLC. Endotoxin 1.0EU per 1g of the protein by the LAL method. Formulation Lyophilized from 0.22m filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization. Reconstitution Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 g/mL is recommended . Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
