FAQ COA 已发表文献 Folate Receptor 1 (FOLR1), also known as Folate Receptor alpha and Folate Binding Protein (FBP), is a 37 – 42 kDa protein that mediates the cellular uptake of folic acid and reduced folates. Mature FOLR1 is an N-glycosylated protein that is anchored to the cell surface by a GPI linkage. Human FOLR1 shares 83% amino acid sequence identity with mouse and rat FOLR1. FOLR1 is predominantly expressed on epithelial cells and is dramatically upregulated on many carcinomas. It contains Arg25-Met233. Molecular Weight The protein has a predicted MW of 27.5 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 40-50 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result. Physical Appearance Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Purity > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC Endotoxin 1.0EU per 1g of the protein by the LAL method. Formulation Lyophilized from 0.22m filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization. Reconstitution Centrifuge tubes before opening.
